Found this on Your Daily Vegan’s website. You can’t live without oxygen, but you CAN live without dairy. In fact 60% of adults are lactose intolerant, so you really should live without dairy. I’m not saying it’s an easy thing to give up, but like any animal product, when you think about the suffering needed in order to produce whatever you’re eating, it loses it’s appeal.
For me, it was no sweat going vegan, but not everyone’s that way. There are two things you should focus on:
1⃣ Nutrition. Don’t cut things out of your diet, replace them. And eat right.
2⃣ Don’t put animal products on a pedestal, you’re setting yourself up for failure. If you tell yourself that “you can’t live without cheese” then your mind will believe it, crave it, and you’ll break.
The longer you go without animal products in your system, the less you’ll crave them, but you need to stop being such a pussy about a block of coagulated milk fat. It’s cheese, not Jesus. You can live without it. Trust me.
